freedom

Freedom in IT is important, whether it's the sustainability of your document formats or the ability to customise your IT so it works and grows with you.

We take a step back and consider the long term picture.

Some solutions providers will recommend the products of their "partners" or will boast of being a certified supplier of one producer with little thought to the sustainability of the project. We take a step a back and consider the bigger, long term picture.

Consider this:

  • How will the project fit in with your work in five or ten years?
  • Will you be able to retrieve data in twenty years time?
  • What level of future investment will be needed to make the solution grow with you?
  • How will it interact with your other systems and procedures (and not just the IT ones)?

Read about our other founding principles of quality and fairness and how we achieve these through the use of free and open source software.
